Long-time lurker here, although we swapped emails about 15 years ago, once.  

To cut to the chase, my wife and I are visiting boston from the UK at Easter for the first time (her 50th, our marriage 30th). I was wondering, do you have any recommendations for not-to-miss music venues, maybe a cool bar with live music, or anything else we'd regret missing if we knew about it and didn't go?
