This chart tracks Christmas-music listening as a share of total Spotify streaming, by country by day.

In the Philippines, and the other countries of the Filipino diaspora, the Christmas-music season opens with unmistakable decisiveness on September 1. I initially thought this was a data error. It is not. Other countries don't get in the spirit until November 1, but after that Scandinavia quickly takes over.

If Christmas music organized geographically isn't what you want, we also have it organized (sic) by genre or by Spotify editors. Or maybe you really just want Mariah and Wham. (Or maybe you really just want to hear all the new covers of "Last Christmas" released since last Christmas.)
